Contract type: Full-Time, Term Time Only
Salary: £31,750 - £36,625 + SEN Allowance
Hours: 8.30am – 4.30pm
What we are looking for
We are looking for an inspirational qualified teacher with SEN and Primary model experience. Role responsibilities
· Teach small groups of pupils within and outside the class
· Planning and preparing lessons and resources
· Marking and assessing work
· Liaising with parents, external agencies and a range of professionals
· Develop and adapt conventional teaching methods to meet the individual needs of pupils.
Essential Criteria
· Qualified Teacher Status
· SEN and Primary model experience
· A passion for creative arts would be desirable
· Excellent skills in managing behaviour
· Holistic thinker that operates in a therapeutic way
· Ability to form positive and engaging relationships with children or all ages
· Ability to assess and monitor progress and inform target setting
· Skill in de-escalating challenging behaviour
· Ability to adapt teaching to meet pupils needs
